How to start an adsense site

A very important reason why adsense took off so quickly  is that it has been very easy for publishers to get the ads on their site as quickly as possible.

Integrating AdSense onto your website takes only a few minutes, and it is very simple to do so even the most unsure website owner can add Adsense to any page.

The first thing you need to do is go to http://www.google.com/adsense and  apply to join, or log in if you have already signed up to Adsense. You will then see a page with the Google Adsense terms and conditions which you must agree to in order to continue.

Upon logging in you are presented with a report page which you can use to get a detailed status on how your AdSense advertising is doing. This allows you to improve your site's contents and layout to maximize your AdSense earnings.

On the top of the page you also have a link to the setup section where you can setup your own personalised adsense campaign, once you have setup your campaign you will then get some adsense code which just needs to placed in the appropriate area on your website or blog.

You may also add a Adsense google search box on your site where you will be paid when people use it and click on sponsored advertisements.

Finally, there is a "My Account" tab which allows you to set up details concerning your account, payment and tax information, users outside the US are responsible for declaring the tax themselves.

So let us go through how to set up Adsense for your website. To add a text ad on your site, go back to the "AdSense Setup" tab and click the "AdSense for content" link. Make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser.
You can make a choice between ad units and link units. The former contain text and or images concerning a certain site for each unit, most with a detailed description, the latter only contain links to certain types. We will be adding more information on the best adsense ad types to use.

You can also view an example of how the unit will look to the right of your page. However, you may only use three ad units and one link unit on any given page.  It is a good thing because the last thing you want is a page with more Adsense ads then content.

The next step is to choose your add format and colors. You can basically select any color palette you choose with Google offering some of its own if you don't have the time or skill to create one. You can constantly view how the palette will look through the aid of an example. The one that works best in terms of appearance and revenues will vary with the look, feel and content of a website.

However, your ad formats are limited to a choice of eleven formats. There's an "Ad Formats" link which takes you to a page that lets you see all even of these in action so you can decide best which one suits your site. Sometimes the most intrusive, doesn’t work best however again, this can vary from website to website.

After you finish with customization, you click "Continue" from the bottom of the page.

You are now presented with a section entitled "AdSense for Content". You can click anywhere in the text and that shows the JavaScript required to get AdSense running. This will automatically select the text in the box.

You then copy it and paste it into your pages directly. If you use dynamic pages, you should paste this code within your template so as to ensure that it gets displayed on any page of your website. Some advertisers choose not to display Adsense on every page, and this is understandable. An example of this is a company that has adsense, may also have terms and condition which would inevitably provide legal resources which would probably be deemed inappropriate.

What is then left for you to do is get content on your page (provided you didn't have any already). Google AdSense crawlers will soon visit your site, making sure that the ads displayed are relevant to your site's content.

Now you are finished with your first adsense page. You can use the same code on Multiple pages or experiment with different Adsense blocks on different pages giving each block a unique channel name you can then see which blocks are working the best for you.

SEO & Adsense

So you have been using Google Adsense on your website pages and now you want to improve your Adsense earnings. One way is to generate more traffic but the traffic needs to be good traffic rather than forced traffic. Forced traffic would be places like Traffic sites where people view sites for x amount of time before going onto the next site, this is not only against google Adsense terms it is not the way to go.

So how do you do this? Well the best way to get vistors to your Adsense ready site is to use various techniques to haev search engines send more and more visitors to your page by ranking higher in your related area.

The first thing you need to do is sort out the actual source code and the way your page is laid out. The simpler the better is the general rule of thumb. If your site is too complex then the search engines and even Adsense will have trouble sifting out the most relevant keywords from your site.

Next up, Try to have only one page for each specific topic, for example if you are running a website dedicated to pets, do not have one page about dogs and cats and hamsters, give them all seperate pages, this helps Adsense place relevant advertisements and for search engines to index your site correctly. With the example given if someone was searching for dogs you would rate better with a seperate page for dogs than you would with one page for dogs cats etc.

Also keep links to a minimum within in each page, which of course means keeping your adsense adverts to a minimum.

If you are targetting certain keywords then make sure that keyword is in the title as well as in the first paragraph, also try and get it in at the end of the page as well.  Adsense will pick up on these keywords and target the advertising around them and if Adsense is advertising similar sites then your content is good. If Adsense is throwing up some strange adverts then rethink and concentrate on getting those keywords in without going over the top.

Finally no matter how easy it is to get articles already written from article sites try your best to do your own original work or at worst take an existing article and rewrite it in your own words.  Search engines will still list you with duplicate content but you tend to get better ratings for unique content.

Search engine optimization and Adsense go hand in hand, make sure they work effectively for you, you can also use keyword tools to help you out. There are lots of books and articles on both SEo and Adsense but get the basics right first and the rest will follow.

Adsense Turnkey Websites - Worthwhile?

Taken from http://adsense.freeoffertrades.co.uk/2008/12/02/adsense-turnkey-websites-worthwhile/

Now that Affiliate Marketing has become so widespread people are now switching back to Adsense to make money. Let's face it the easiest way for somebody starting out in an online venture to make money is through Adsense, you get the benefit of pushing your own business as well as earning with Adsense.

The reason a lot of people hesitate when they think about starting an online business is because they are either a novice with websites or they are scared of handling complaints from customers who can very easily kill a site if they go the right way about it. The second major reason is because they make the assumption that to run an online business they need to actually sell products and they worry about where to get their stock from and the costs of shipping et al.

However with Adsense you do not need to worry about selling stuff or stock or anything. Let's face it you can start up a free blogger blog and put adsense on there, then keep adding quality unique content and start earning from adsense. Alternatively you can start your own online article directory and then people add content to your site for you, how cool is that!! However be careful because a directory takes up a lot of time and costs money.

A 3rd alternative would be to buy Adsense Ready websites, these are sites that are pre made and you just add your Adsense code and away you go. X amount of sites and pages with content and Adsense all done for you. You do not even have to fret about whether you have chosen the right keywords and phrases, if you funnel your traffic it is a sure thing you will make money through Adsense.

Now i know you read a lot about google and duplicate content, so this would make these pre made sites worthless, well you would be very surprised at the truth. Google still indexes pages with duplicate content, go to an article site now and find an adsense article, now take a unique phrase from that article and google it, the odds are that there are a staggering amount of hits and a big percentage of those will be the exact same article. Let's face it if google did not index duplicate content then Article directories would be out of business now, because they hold an unbelievable amount of duplicate content between them.

Article submission sites are started daily and all they do is join the long line of directories and have exactly the same content. And they still manage to earn with adsense.

So stop worrying and go ahead and take the plunge, what have you got to lose?

Adsense Keywords

Adsense
Ok, we all know how hard it is to find those really lucrative adsense keywords, so how about a program which will do all the hard work for you?
Well i am always interested in finding a good niche market so i took the plunge and invested in Keyword Elite

Unlike other programs this one comes with a money back guarantee (we have checked this out and they do refund) They are offering to triple your Online earnings within 30 days or your money back, now that is a good offer.

Using the software was very easy and although it never tripled my earnings it did almost double them. I was making over a thousand dollars a month through Adsense alone but this managed to take it to over the two thousand dollar mark.

The way it works is by offering a far wider range of keywords than basic programs thus cornering the market for that keyword. Go ahead and try it out if it doesn;t work you will at least get your money back.

Earn big money with Adsense

How can you earn big money with Adsense? It isn't easy and you do need to put the work in to reap the rewards, even then it is a long haul. I like a lot of others have read through all the get rich quick guides regarding adsense and many others, but they all comprise of offering you the same technique which in a nutshell is like this.
1, Create X amount of blogs and interlink them all.
2, add Adsense to these blogs and update them weekly at least.
3, Add a further 5 blogs, again interlinking with the previous 5 as well as the new 5
4 etc etc etc

Does it work??? Yes it does but it is a long job. You also need to realise which are the big paying keywords, these can be found quite easily but hey i have to let you do something before you try make some good money.

Do not expect the cheques to come rolling in straight away like i said it takes time and patience to succed. Also do not be tempted to draw traffic to your site using traffic exchanges, it is against the rules for adsense.

Get your websites up, Design them so they are easy on the eye.

Use good paying keywords and phrases.
SEO techniques can help boost your sites ranking as well but be careful that you stay within googles terms.

Adsense Turnkey Sites

As it becomes more and more difficult to earn money with Affiliate marketing, earning money with Adsense is back. What is the most easiest way for a newbie to start an online business ?? Right: Adsense. You don't have to deal with customers. Do you know why a lot of people are hesitant to start an online business? Yes, because they fear to handle customers complaints and refunds etc. What do you think is the second big hurdle people are having problems with making money online.

They think they need to sell and are not sure where to get inventory from. Guess what, with Adsense you don't need to worry about inventory, storage, delivery etc. In simple words: Your write - You upload - You Earn ! You can simply start a blog, for example Blogger.com or Wordpress.com offer easy to use blogs. You can then start writing and adding content regularly. By doing this you will earn money from your Adsense ads you have incorporated into your site. Or you could start a directory, article or a big portal website. People add THEIR content to YOUR site and you are in business. But be aware that setting up those big directories is time intensive and costly. An alternative could be to purchase some Adsene-Ready Turnkey websites. You can simply modify one file with your Adsense code, and all article content pages automatically show Adsense ads with your code. You can then simply upload and advertise your article content pages. You will be surprised how easy it is to make money with Adsense.

And you don't have to worry if you have chosen the right keywords, sales copy etc. If you funnel your traffic it's almost impossible not making any money with Adsense. Some people might think that Ready-To-Go Adsense site are a problem for search engines as they could show some duplicate content. I have another opinion about duplicate content. If I look for a specific article I want to read and I search Google, do you think this article comes up only once? No way. For example: Some time ago I have written an article and submitted to huge number of article directories. If the myth of duplicate content would hold true I would only find my article on one site or directory. But this article has been distributed through more than 7,000 different sites all over the internet. So, does Google still index 'duplicate content'. Sure Google does it - Big times. If Google would not index any duplicate content sites, thousands of article directories would be immediately out of business. And look at the trend !

Every day new article submission sites are born and all what they do is to show duplicate content. And do you think they earn with Adsense? You bet they are, otherwise they wouldn't have started this business in the first place. So, if you use a combination of Ready-to-go Adsense Turnkey sites and an article directory, you simply can't fail earning money with Adsense. Just get the Search Engine Optimization right and you are laughing.

Simple AdSense Advice & Tips

Most people have tried and failed to make money at AdSense, however they found it is not quite as easy as people made out. A lot of people fail to get anywhere near the Click Thru Rate they need or the keywords they have chosen are generating poor earnings. Here are a few tips on hopefully helping you improve and hopefully make some decent money.

Hint #1 Try and make use of all the ads available, obviously you don't want to make your website look like one long advert but if you have enough content you can place your adverts around the page and it will look ok.

Hint #2: Make your Ads look like the page.
Everyone surfing the web is expecting adverts on pages, in fact they will be shocked if there aren't any. Google AdSense lets you change the colours of your adverts the common consensus amongst the experts is to make the ads blend with your website as much as possible. But others think it is better to make them stand out. So try different combinations and see which works best for your site.

Hint #3: Make sure your page has the correct ads.
A lot of sites are not targeted enough so AdSense puts a wide range of different adverts on the page. Do some research into keywords and try and make each page concentrate on a keyword or phrase. If your page is content rich and has ample keywords the adverts will mirror the page content and you are more likely to get clicks from your visitors. At the end of the day they have come across your site looking for those keywords the odds are good they will leave looking for the same keywords.

Hint #4 Make your site presentable
It is pointless having a content rich site with great keywords if it looks like a child made it. If you are no good at web design try a freelancer they do jobs very cheap now. Try not to have popups we all hate them so why try and subject your potential customers to them.
